Join a park interpreter as you explore interesting sandstone structures, both natural and human-made, on the west end of Mount Magazine State Park on off-trail locations. Expect some uneven terrain and slight inclines. Seasonally appropriate attire, drinking water, and sturdy hiking shoes, are all highly recommended for this moderate-strenuous hike.
Caution- This hiking trail runs along very high cliffs with no railing, so children and pets must be highly supervised by legal guardians at all times.

3rd Annual Central Arkansas’s Last Chance Run
War Memorial Walking Path
Please join local running clubs including the Arkansas Running Klub, Arkansas Ultra Running Association, Blue Rose Running Club, Cabot Country Cruisers, Conway Running Club, Little Rock Roadrunners, Russellville River Valley Runners, Saline County Striders and the Spa Pacers on Saturday, December 28th at 9 AM for the 3rd Annual Central Arkansas's Last Chance Run! This FREE run will take place at War Memorial Park and anyone is welcome to participate! We will meet in the parking lot west of the roundabout at Fair Park Blvd and Zoo Dr. There is limited parking within the park, but there is plenty of overflow parking at the nearby War Memorial Stadium.
There will be 2.5 mile marked loop around the park that participants will be welcome to run or walk as many times as they would like! There will also be a 1/2 mile kids run at 8:40 AM.
Drinks and snacks will be provided after the run in a covered pavilion and there will be a number of door prizes to be given away to registered participants that are in attendance. Many of the participating running clubs and sponsors will have tables and tents set up so you can get in your miles with old friends, and then hang out out afterwards to make some new ones!
The participating running clubs will once again have a friendly competition to win the Last Chance Run Cup. One change this year, will only be accepting monetary donations via each club’s link!

3levated Dance presents Latin dance night at Six Twelve Coffeehouse and Bar! Every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of every month we host a Latin dance night with salsa and bachata, hosted and DJ with Michael Vasquez from 3levated Dance. It's $15 for the class and social dance or just $10 for the social dance. Clas 6-7 and 7-10 is social dancing! Our goal at 3levated is to create a community that is safe, family oriented and about growth and supporting one another. Dance is more than just a hobby with us. It is an art. And expressive and healing art. At 3levated Dance we want to show the world dance because it is a way to grow and become more of your true self. To find yourself and help yourself grow. We teach dance is a conversation between 2 souls. And opportunity to listen and help one another. It's a family here. We teach pachata, cha cha, and salsa on 1 and on 2! Interested in birding but not sure where to start? Join Park Interpreter Emiley for an introduction to birding basics. We will walk a relatively easy 1/2-mile section of the Seven Hollows Trail, and you will learn to spot and identify birds using a few essential birding tools. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along water. Bring binoculars if you have them, or you can borrow a pair from us!

Stroll into some intriguing history of early settlers on what is now Mount Magazine State Park. Guests will also see some of Arkansas’ most scenic landscapes from beautiful Cameron’s Bluff. This hike includes mostly paved surfaces, some uneven terrain, and rock steps. Seasonally appropriate attire, drinking water, sturdy hiking shoes, insect repellent, and sunscreen (although this hike is very shaded), are all highly recommended for this easy hike.
Caution- This hike features high cliffs, some with no railing, so children and pets must be highly supervised by legal guardians at all times.

The river is always changing; it hasn’t always looked the way it does today. Join a park interpreter in the grassy area across from the visitor center and learn some of the hazards and bounty the river has in store. You will have to navigate your way to safety to reap the rewards in our fun river ramble.
